Student Checkup

Student annual health examinations are conducted on the hospital grounds every year in April. We ask that everyone attend so that we can assess the health of all our students. The annual health examinations are mandatory under the School Health Law.
Students who attend the student annual health examination can collect their Certificate of Health (free of charge) from the automatic issuing machine.

Schedule 2020

Instructions

Attendance will be recorded by a magnetic card reader, so please make sure to bring your student card. (This does not apply to new students.) Please bring something to write with. For the chest x-ray, you may only wear a plain, thin T-shirt or under-shirt. Patterned or embroidered clothes, or clothes with pockets, accessories, metal, plastic, etc. will interfere with the x-ray and are therefore not allowed. Also, watches, socks, stockings, necklaces, earrings etc. should not be worn during the ECG exam. Lectures, etc. will not be held while the health examinations are in progress. (By agreement with the whole university.) If for some reason you are unable to participate in the health examination during the scheduled time, please go on a separate day. In particular, we recommend that those intending to take cross-faculty courses be examined 8-10 days before lectures begin. It is not necessary to call to rearrange your appointment. Instead, just go to the reception on the day you want to be examined and inform them you wish for an unscheduled examination. Examinations will take place on Kyushu University hospital grounds. Hospital patients have priority for parking spaces, so please do not drive. There is parking available for bicycles and motorbikes next to the examination venue.
